"Caleb Talley, sof William Talley, b. October 16, 1757 in Hanover County, Virginia, m. 1784 Elizabeth Stuart b. Sept. 17, 1764, dau. Alexander Stuart and Margaret Sutherland Stuart, d. Greene County, Georgia February 16, 1803. Caleb and Elizabeth, and Alexander and Margaret are buried at Bethany Church in Greene County, Georgia."--p. 20. The Stuarts originally came from Scotland. Alexander fought in the Revoloutionary War. In 1792 the Stuarts left Virginia for Greene County, Georgia. "Penelope Talley b. about 1757 was Second Wife [sic] of Robert Moseley of Edgefield District, S.C., who died in 1796. They were married probably about 1776 and had Eight Children [sic]. At least four of them moved to Alabama about 1818, and one of them, David Moseley...moved from Ala. to Texas."--p. 42. Descendants lived in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.
