Contains genealogical notes on Parrotts in the United States, including Nathaniel Parrot, fl. 1783, of Halifax County, Virginia; Thorp Parrott, ca. 1765-1828, of Wilkinson County, Mississippi; and others.

Includes records, 1877-1954, from the family Bible of Alfred Hanson Penn Holter, transcribed, 1955, from a Bible in possession of Irma Holter Parrott (Mrs. Dale K.), Washington, D.C., and records, 1794-1887, from two Apple family Bibles, transcribed from Bibles in possession of Daniel Judd, of Batavia, Ohio.

Alfred Hanson Penn Holter (b. 1847), of Olive Branch, Ohio, and Eva A. Apple were married 15 Mar. 1877 They had three children, 1877-1883.

Daniel Apple, born 20 July 1794 in Canter County, Pennsylvania, married Sarah Lane in March, 1812, in Clemont County, Ohio. He died 1872.
