Includes registers of erven, small holdings, deeds and other land certificates, births and oaths of allegiance. Includes records from Bainsvlei, Donegal, Grasland, Kromkloof, Lakeview, Quaqqafontein, Rodenbeck, Roodepoort, Shannon, Boshof, Bloemfontein, Bothaville, Brandfort, Dewetsdorp, Bethlehem, Edenburg, Fauresmith, Fouriesburg, Frankfort, Harrismith, Heilbron, Jacobsdal, Kroonstad, Ladybrand, Lindley, Rouxville, Reitz, Senekal, Thaba Nchu, Vrede, Winburg, Wepener, Zastron, Bethulie, and elsewhere. Many early land records are grouped by first letter of place name; later records are in chronological order. Many record books include alphabetical name indexes. Titles are individually numbered, and may be carried over to subsequent books, appearing out of numerical order.
