Workshop Title: Adding Memories into FamilySearch thru Photos, Documents and Stories.
Presenter: Connie Powell and Nancy Oleksy
Difficulty Level: Beginner
Class Description: Learn about the new Gallery feature in FamilySearch to add photographs, documents, and stories and tag them to individuals. Please bring your own flash drive with photos and documents you wish to add. You will be shown how to add and given the opportunity to add it yourself. Learn how to use photos and keepsakes to create memories for your home and family.
March 5th:
Workshop Title: Preparing Names for the Temple by Identifying & Merging Duplicate Names
Presenter: Vint Atkinson
Difficulty Level: Beginner
Class Description: This class will briefly discuss the nature of family trees in FamilySearch and why duplicates exist. Attendees will learn how to find duplicate names and how to merge them, then how to process names for Temple Ordinances.

March 12th:
Workshop Title: Finding and Filling Holes in FamilySearch with "Find A Record: and "Kinpoint"
Presenter: Cyndi Henderson
Difficulty Level: Beginner
Class Description: With Findarecord you will be able to find many opportunities as it connects with your family search account. These opportunities will be automatically generated. You can also focus on just one part of your family tree. With Kinpoint you again connect with with your family search account and it opens with a fan chart and each person has color coded dots indicating information that is out there to be discovered.
April 9th:
Workshop Title: Tree Connect and FamilySearch Sourcing
Presenter: Holly Allred
Difficulty Level: Beginner
Class Description: Learn what to do with all those indexed sources your grandma could never find. Learn how to attach record hints, tag and edit sources, and manage your source box. Understand source menus on a person detail page and inside the source box.
Discover how to search for records outside of record hints and how to attach them to multiple people. Learn what to do with sources found outside of FamilySearch.org records by using Tree Connect to create and attach the source for you.
April 23rd: Workshop Title: Ancestry.com – Introduction To This Powerful Partner Presenter: Vint Atkinson Difficulty Level: Beginner
Class Description: This class introduces you to the Ancestry.com website and explains how to get started using this powerful family history research partner. Included are basic website navigation; setting up your profile and home page to get the most out of the website; starting your family tree; basic search techniques. Each attendee will have time to explore the website.
It is recommended that each attendee already have an Ancestry.com account or set up an account before attending the workshop. Handouts provide directions for account setup.

Class Description: This class demonstrates how to find and/or assemble your family's stories using the powerful search tools and ever growing source catalog at Ancestry.com. Attendees will be shown and use some advance search techniques and latest innovations at Ancestry.com.
