Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (RAOGK) was established in 1999 as a resource for networking among researchers. RAOGK links researchers who need documents from a distant location with others able to obtain them.

Janice M. Sellers, on her Ancestral Discoveries blog, reports "Random Acts of Genealogical Kindess Resurfaces" including the link to the "Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness Wiki."

The RAOGK wiki was created as a workaround for the original RAOGK site being down since October 2011.  It has the same concept and ease of use as the original site.

Bridgett's husband Doc has assured the RAOGK volunteers that Random Acts Of Genealogical Kindness will be back online in the future - a promise he has made to Bridgett. For now, some people are helping individuals through the RAOGK Facebook page. Bridgett has brightened the lives of countless people and will be dearly missed.
