North Dakota is a state in the northern part of the United States. It is divided into 53 counties. North Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889. The State Capital is Bismarck, North Dakota. North Dakota was from the Dakota Territory. [1]
