The collection consists of civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the Nuoro Courthouse (Tribunale di Nuoro). It also includes:
- Residency records (cittadinanze)
- Supplemental records (allegati)
- Marriage banns (pubblicazioni)
- Ten-year indexes (indici decennali)
Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality. Records for this collection include the years 1866-1915.
