Great Salt Lake County, Utah Genealogy

Great Salt Lake County, Utah was created as one of the original counties of Utah in 1850. It was expanded to the eastern border in present-day Colorado in 1852.[1] It was reduced in size in 1856, and then reduced again to its present borders. The name was changed to Salt Lake County in 1866.[2]
