Knaphus |
Website: Knaphus Family Organization Encourages Family research, old newsletters, and a blog. Torleif S. Knaphus (1881-1965) was an artist, painter, sculptor. The "Handcart Pioneer" statue found on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, is just one of his many pieces of art. A bronze replica of his Handcart Pioneer statue is on display in his homeland at the Norwegian Emigrant Museum in Ottestad, Norway. Torleif worked on his genealogy throughout his life. This organization continues his work in conducting family history research. |
