FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

The Danville California Family History Center

Appointments are required; schedule by calling 925-837-7010.

If answering machine picks up then leave a call back number. We'll return your call to schedule your appointment.

Fitted face masks are required only for non-vaccinated individuals.

Work stations are sanitized between patrons & at end of each shift.

Patrons seated at least 6 feet apart.

This is a scent-free facility.

The San Ramon Valley Genealogy Society meets via Zoom on the third Tuesday of each month (except August & December) from 10 am until 12 noon.

They offer a wide variety of knowledgeable speakers and lesson topics. Please, see their website srvgensoc.org for additional information.

  • Family History Center Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software such as: 19th Century British Library Newspaper Digital Archive, Alexander Street Press - The American Civil War, American Ancestors, Ancestry.com Institution, ArkivDigital Online - Swedish Genealogy, FamNet- New Zealand roots; Findmypast, Fold 3, Geneanet, NyHeritage Library Edition, Newspapers.com, Paper Trail, Puzzilla.
  • NOTE: The images of some documents in FamilySearch.org may only viewed at a Family History Center. You may view those images using a Family History Center computer so "Come on in."
