Surveys
- Potter, Dorothy William. Original Surveyors Record Book 1836-1877 Coffee County, Tennessee (Tullahoma, Tenn. DWP Publications, 1976) FHL US/CAN Book 976.864 R2p website. "Book transcribed from the original book, now too fragile to handle and in pieces, located in the County Register’s office in Manchester. Original book has also been microfilmed by TSLA and it should be noted that the entries herein will not coincide with the microfilmed version. The disagreement arrises because the book microfilmed was actually a late 1880’s copy of the original Surveyor’s Book and that has some serious errors. Hence the original book was used for this new volume. The plats are drawn in the exact size and manner as the original. All entries and notations are copied in full."[10] "Every name" index in back of book includes chain carriers, neighbors, etc.
