Chiefly ancestral families of Andrew Jackson Black. He was born in 1928 at Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of Andrew Jackson Black (1902-1960) and Lorena Kathryn Beyer Black (1907-1960). He married Dorothy June Lawson in 1947 at Ripley, New York. They had six children, 1948-1960, born at Erie and Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Ancestors include: Daniel Black (fl. 1660) of Rowley, Massachusetts -- Julius Beyer (fl. 1850-1859) of Hirschberg, Schlesien, Germany; and his son, Joseph Anton Franz Beyer (b. 1856) of Hirschberg and Erie, Pennsylvania -- Frederick Brinkman (1851-1906) of Germany and Erie, Pennsylvania.
