Thomas Gordon (1794-1867) was born in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, Scotland and baptized in Oxham Church, Holefield, Scotland. He was married to Margaret Smith (1800-1879) in 1822 in Melrose, Roxburghshire. She was born in Newstead, Melrose, Roxburghshire, Scotland. Both died in Rock Creek Twp., Wells Co., Indiana. They were parents of nine children. Descendants live in Indiana, Michigan and elsewhere.

Includes Forbing, Gregg, Dickie, Oliver and allied families.
