Ancestors of Jeanie Marie Creek (b. 1960), daughter to Merle Clement Creek and Jeniene Marie Mellott. She was born in Kansas City, Kaw Twp., Jackson Co., Mo. She married William John Slayton (b. 1964) in 1989 in Blue Springs, Jackson Co., Mo. The early Creek ancestor, Jacob Eli Creek (b. 1795), was born in Washington, Maryland a son of Jacob Creek (Creigh). He married 1819 in Hancock Distr., Washington, Maryland, Frances Elizabeth Goulding. Includes ancestors from England and Germany from the early 1600s, who came to New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Includes short biography of Jeanie Marie Creek Slayton.
