Oliver Perry Hancock was born in Arizona in 1898. His ancestors were early converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who lived in Nauvoo, came west with the saints to Utah and later settled in Arizona. He married Lora Aseneth Lisonbee and they were the parents of seven children. Family group records for several lines of their descendant back into New England, England, Ireland and elsewhere are included in this record compiled about 1960 by Lora Hancock and circulated by their daughter in 1998. Descendants continue to live throughout the west and elsewhere.
