Agustina was born about 1806 in Louisiana of mixed parentage and brought to Pensacola in Spanish West Florida as a slave. She had a daughter by a man named Juan Gomez whom they named Cecilia. Cecilia Gomez married John Kelker (1812-1893), a son of Jacob Kelker of Lebanon, Pennsylvania who had moved to Florida with a free woman of color named Elizabeth Lewis. John and Cecilia were the parents of nine children. One of the Children, Elizabeth Kelker (1851-1920) married Alexander Eagan (1843-1942) and they were the parents of thirteen children. Descendants live throughout the United States.
