Family history and genealogical information about the ancestors and descendants of Horatio R. Prater and Cyntha Jane Dodd. Horatio was born 15 April 1873 in Fayette Co., Illinois. He was the son of John Monroe Prater and Mary Stein. Cyntha was born 25 December 1874 in Pulaski Co., Missouri. Horatio Prater married Cyntha Dodd 29 July 1894 in Missouri. They lived in Miller Co., Missouri and were the parents of six sons and five daughters. Descendants lived in Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Includes information on the Deardeuff, Dodd, Hullinger and Moss families.
