Chiefly a record of some of the ancestors and descendants of Hugh M. MacLachlan. He was born 1 Dec 1782 in Kippen, Scotland, to Alexander MacLachlan and Elizabeth Kirkwood. He married Catherine McCallum in 1807 in Kilmartin, Scotland. She was born 5 Feb 1787 in Killean, Scotland, to Duncan McCallum and Catherine McCallum. He died in 1849 in Mosa, Ontario. She died in 1874 in Mosa, Ontario. They were the parents of fourteen children.
