Albert Cutler Abbott (1836-1903) was born in Andover, Massachusetts, a son of Albert and Abigail Cutler Abbott. He married Mary Watson (1840-1920) in 1858 in Davenport, Iowa. She was a daughter of James V. and Hannah Miller Watson. Albert Cutler Abbott lived in Andover, Massachusetts until 1852, in Boston, Mass. until 1856, in Davenport, Iowa until 1860, in Marshalltown, Iowa until 1888, in Chicago, Ill. until 1894, in Buffalo, N.Y. until 1898, and then returned to Marshalltown, Iowa, where he died. Descendants live in Iowa, Utah, Wisconsin, New York and elsewhere. The early ancestors came from England and settled in Andover, Massa- chusetts.
