Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of John Quincy Adams, Sr. John was born 6 Feb 1833. He married Priscilla Jones 5 Aug 1856 in Franklin County, Missouri. They were the parents of five children. She died 20 Sep 1869. He married Genevra Allen Sanford 26 May 1870 in Golden City, Missouri. Genevra was born 28 Jan 1849 in Kinderhook, Illinois to George Washington Allen and Nancy Lucinda Porter. They were the parents of eight children. He died 24 Dec 1898. She died 31 May 1910. Adams descendant, Nellie Geneva Adams, daughter of James Wesley Adams and Anna Maude Adams, married Wilbur McPherson on 6 June 1914 in Boise, Idaho. Descendants and relatives lived in Idaho, Oregon, Arizona, California, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin and elsewhere.
