Samuel Cook (1816-1869) was the son of William Cook and Eunice Corwin of Mansfield, Ohio. He was a descendant of Francis Cook (1583-1663) who was one of the Pilgrim founders at Plymouth, Mass. Samuel Cook married Catherine Jane Brown, daughter of Luther Brown and Nancy Dillion in 1839. Fourteen generations of ancestors and descendants are given. Descendants lived in Ohio, Tennessee, Kansas and elsewhere.
