Copied in a letter to Mrs. C. W. Mathews by Vela McDaniel Milton of Jacksonville, Florida, in 1946.

Samuel Nunn (1816-1886) and Eliza Jane Norris (1819-1890) were married in 1836. They had nine children, 1835-1856. Their son, Joseph Marshall Nunn (1845-1914) married Marguarett Elizabeth Halton in 1870. They had eleven children, 1871-1890, all born at Jasper, Hamilton County, Florida. Their daughter, Iola Elizabeth Nunn (b. 1873) married Thomas Franklin McDaniel. They had nine children, 1892-1914.
