Descendants of Peter Cooke (1674-ca.1713) who was born in England, married Elinor Norman in 1695, and immigrated with his family to America in 1713. Peter died at sea during the trip, but his family arrived at Philadelphia and settled in Pennsylvania. His descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Delaware, the Carolinas, Ohio, and Indiana.
