Moses Cleveland (d.1701/1702) immigrated in 1635 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, and in 1640 settled in Woburn, Massachusetts. He married Anne Winn in 1648. Moses Cleaveland (1754-1806) was a direct descendant in the fifth generation. He served in the Revolutionary War, married Esther Champion in 1794, and moved from Connecticut to help establish Cleveland, Ohio. Descendants and rela;tives lived in New England, Ohio and elsewhere.

Includes Bates, Champion, Harris, Paine, Winn and related families.
