Simon Allen was baptized 22 April 1776, in Melton, Suffolk County, England. He married (1) Sarah Webb; (2) Dinah Webb, and (3) Sarah Kettle. Simon had a total of fifteen children: Ishmael, Job, Rebekah, Mary Jane, Jude, Hephzibah, David, Eliza, Nathan, Abraham, Ishmael, Charlotte, Ellen, Mary and Bethsheba. Jude and David Allen immigrated to Middlesex County, Ontario in 1844. They arrived with Gooderham family members. Descendants of David and Jude settled in Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, New York and Kansas, Colorado and Washington and California. Some descendants of Charlotte Allen Vesey lived in England and Vancouver, British Columbia. Includes some descendants of Abraham Allen in New Zealand.
Includes Bailey, Bloomfield, Brown, Eke, Ellwood (Elwood), Finn, Fleming, Fulcher, Gooderham, Harris, Helmer, Kettle, McColl, McTaggert, O'Dell, Patterson, Petri, Proper, Randall, Rushlow, Ryerson, Rudland, St. Louis, Sullivan, Vesey, Vincent, West and related families.
