Floris Cobbley was born 18 January 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents were Marion Reeves Cobbley (1892-1965) and Venice Adamson (1894-1959). Her grandparents were James David Orville Cobbley (1846-1917), Emmer Thorne (1849-1921), James Crookes Adamson (1863-1943) and Mary Louisa Herron (1865-1941). She married Leslie Clarence Gold, son of Helaman Mosiah Gold and Marie Magdalena Plewe, 19 April 1938 in Farmington, Utah. Traces her ancestors for thirty-one generations in England, Scotland, Prussia, Netherlands, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Utah.

Includes Blinn, Brouwer, Byrd, Chitch, Curtis, Driggs, Eustace, Gaylord, Graves, Happer, Hartwell, Hoar, Howe, Hubbard, Hunt, Kreussler, Martain, Rowlandson, Stanley, Williams and related families.
