David Arl Pearson was born 4 August 1887 in Kempton, Indiana. His parents were David William Pearson (1863-1942) and Arminda Rector (1883-1939). He married Idella Louzena Lockridge (1889-1969), daughter of James Lockridge and Mary Stafford, 22 September 1906. They had eight children. He died in 1958 in Ekin, Indiana. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Indiana.

Includes Barnes, Biddle, Burtron, Delph, Ewbank, Garst, Goff, Hancock, King, Law, Morris, Redd, Reed, Scott, Searcy, Thompson and related families.
