Henry Lyon was probably born in England in about 1623. He married Elizabeth Bateman in Fairfield, Connecticut in about 1652. Descendant, Thomas Rice Lyon, was born 31 May 1854 in Conneaut, Ohio. His parents were Robert Bond Lyon (1796-1854) and Clarissa Kellogg (1819-1896). He married Harriet Wade Rice 26 October 1875 in Ludington, Michigan. They had six children. Thomas died in Chicago in 1909. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio and Illinois.
