Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the MacLeod Clan (and variant spellings) that originated in Scotland, in the islands of Raasay and Skye. One ancestor was Hugh MacLeod of Raasay. Of Hugh's descendants, only Donald stayed in Raasay, and later established branches of the MacLeod family in Skye. Later, 300 MacLeod descendants immigrated to America, settling mainly in the Carolinas and New York. Other of Hugh McLeod's descendants were: John of Aukland who left Raasay and established his family in Prince Edward Island (Canada); Little John who settled New South Wales (Australia); and Murdoch, Murdoch (II), and Angus who established clan in New Zealand. This newsletter regularly publishes articles taken from circulars and newsletters issued by each of these regional branches of the Clan MacLeod throughout Australia, Canada, England (the United Kingdom), France, Germany, New Zealand, the United States of America, and elsewhere.

Includes MacCaig, MacCaskill, MacCloud, MacGaskill, MacLoud, McLeod, and other variant spellings.

Includes births, marriages, deaths, reports of accomplishments and special trips to the ancestral Castle Dunvegan and the Island of Skye, reunions, and general Scottish festivals and Highland games held for MacLeod and other Scottish clansfolk throughout the world.

Also available on microfilm.

Roughly semiannual published in spring and autumn.

Semi-Annual

Issue for autumn / winter 2003 was misprinted on the cover as 2004.
