John Acton married Jennie Roberts and they had ten children. They lived in Kentucky until 1816 when they moved to Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon, Florida, California, Oklahoma, Georgia, Michigan, Arkansas and elsewhere.
