Microfilm of records located at the Allen County Public Library, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Allen County Poor Asylum became the Allen County Home about 1958. It is currently (1989 on) known as Byron Health Care Center.
Contains a chronological register (some volumes being alphabetical) of inmates, showing name, race, age, sex, marital status, place of birth, date and reason for admittance, date of birth, date and reason of discharge, date of death and where buried.
