Notes

These journals record the proceedings of each session of the District Court beginning with its organization as the Third District Court for the Territory of Oklahoma. Those proceedings included a wide range of cases including criminal and civil matters, naturalization proceedings and admissions of attorneys to the bar. The journal entries usually include a brief statement of the cause of action and of the disposition of the case. They do not include all the detailed documents pertaining to each case.

Partial indexes are included at the beginning of most of the volumes.

Microreproduction of original records at the office of the Cleveland County Court Clerk in Norman, Oklahoma.
