The month opens on 1 October with the Festival Latinoamericano Provo livestream, which celebrates family history and cultural heritage in the Latin American community. Held in Provo, Utah, the event highlights the importance of preserving family stories and strengthening connections across generations, and participants will discover more resources available through FamilySearch.

The featured webinar on 8 October, "Transform Photos and Memories into Engaging Stories: New Slideshow Feature in Memories," introduces participants to a new FamilySearch Memories feature that helps transform family photographs and personal memories into compelling visual stories. Attendees will learn how to use the slideshow experience to bring family stories to life and make memories more engaging for relatives and future generations.

On 15 October, "The New and Improved Memories Upload Experience" webinar highlights the latest enhancements that make it easier to preserve family history content on the FamilySearch website.
