Family History Library Classes and Webinars for October 2022

Ancient and magic library full of valuable manuscripts

The FamilySearch Family History Library announced its free webinars for October 2022. This month's featured sessions will cover Research in Belarus, Canadian Civil Registrations, Estonian Records using Saaga, Latvian Records Using Radurakst, Lithuanian Records Using E-Paveldas, and Hungarian Parish, Civil, and Gazetteers, Norwegian Land and Probate Records, Swedish Emigration and the Swedish National Archives (Riksarkivet), along with sessions on JRI-Poland, Russian Historical Geography and Research, and the Russian Alphabet and Deciphering the Handwriting. No registration is required.

Other research-oriented sessions will cover Germans from Russia, 3 sessions on Research in Spain presented in Spanish, Ukrainian Research, the FamilySearch Wiki source for Ukrainian Research plus the United States Immigration Records. One session in Chinese titled 在FamilySearch獲得免費中文家譜幫助系列:FamilySearch幫助中心 will continue with the Family Tree Help Series at Family Search with emphasis on the Help Center.

Additional classes throughout the month will cover developing basic skills and include the how to get the most out of the FamilySearch Catalog, the Family Tree App on an Android phone, FamilySearch Tips and Tricks, Explore Historical Images, and more.

All class times are in [Mountain Daylight Time]. If you cannot attend a live event, most sessions are recorded and can be viewed later at your convenience at Family History Library classes and webinars. Want more?
