Family History Library Classes and Webinars for August 2022

FamilySearch Family History Library Exterior

The world famous FamilySearch Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah (USA) is offering a variety of free online classes in August 2022 for beginners to genealogical research. Pick from a variety of topics including Tips and Tricks, Help and Resources, and using the FamilySearch Catalog, Images, Community, and Family Tree.

Other sessions will cover using U.S. Census Records 1790-1840, Beyond the Brick Wall Strategies, a Spanish language session entitled Los registros históricos, el catálogo o las imágenes de FamilySearch, ¿cuál elijo para encontrar a mis antepasados? [Historical Records, Catalog, or FamilySearch Pictures, Which Do I Choose to Find My Ancestors?], and two Chinese language sessions from the Get Free Chinese Genealogy Help Series ( 在FamilySearch獲得免費中文家譜幫助系列:家譜樹的“協助他人”功能 and 在FamilySearch獲得免費中文家譜幫助系列:家譜中心和FamilySearch附屬圖書館).

There will be one additional session on Indexing for those interested in helping make historical records more searchable online.
