Mr. Arville Stallings of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Friday, April 12, 2013, in Greenwood. He was a retired employee for Western Auton Supply Company; a deacon at the 1st Baptist Church of Greenwood; a member of Meno's Sunday School Class; a past Greenwood City Councilman; a member of the Greenwood City Planning Commission; a past president of the Greenwood School board; a past member of the Sebastian County Fair Board; a past member of the Greenwood Roundup club; a major in the Sebastian County Mounted Patrol(1963-1966); a Committee member of the Farm Home Administration (1962-1971); and a United States ARMY veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife: Delois "Bo" Stallings.

He is survived by 2 sons: Wayne Stallings and his wife: Pam, and Mark Stallings and his wife: Dana; 1 brother: Delbert Stallings; 4 sisters: June Pelham, Darl Kulmaczewski, Joyce Russell, and Becky Trotter; 4 wonderful grandchildren: Chrissy Stallings, Amber Konkler and her husband: Heath, Evan Stallings and his wife: Tammy, and Carter Stallings; 3 precious great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, April 15, 2013, at the 1st Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Pallbearers were: Delbert Stallings, Jerome Neal, Carrol Basham, Dr. James Burgess, Evan Stallings and Carter Stallings.
