Volunteer Translation
At FamilySearch, we publish content online in more than 30 languages. As a nonprofit organization that offers free services, most of this translation work is done by volunteers, and we are constantly in need of more help.

What will I do?

  • Translate written content for the FamilySearch website from English into another language.
  • Volunteer remotely, at your own pace.

What will I need?

  • A desire to translate content to help more people have access to FamilySearch and family history materials
  • Ability to read and write in both English and a second language (see a list of languages needed below)
  • A computer (laptop or desktop)
  • Access to the internet
