Family History Community Translation

Family history missionaries with relevant language skills can help translate documents for the Family History Department databases and knowledge bases into the languages of the world. There is currently a high need for the following languages: German, Italian, French, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, Chinese Traditional, Thai, Estonian, Fijian, and Finnish.

Skills Needed: Missionaries must be proficient in English and in the target language into which the assigned documents will be translated (preferably the missionary's native tongue). An online test will be administered to determine ability to meet the needs of this team.

Time Commitment: 8 hours per week for at least one year, flexible schedule.

Watch one of our missionaries talk about his experiences serving with our team as well as the Family History Support team.
