Family History Book Scanning

Full-Time Mission or Service Mission

FamilySearch book-scanning missionaries create high-resolution digital images of family histories and the areas where they lived. After scanning, missionaries audit the images for quality. The books are uploaded, made full-text searchable, and published in the FamilySearch Digital Library.

Book scanning can be done as a full-time or service mission.
