Each of our records collections has a Description and a How to Use this Collection link. The links provide background information about the collection and its contents.
To see the Description of a collection, click the collection title. The description is directly below the collection title. Some descriptions tell you where the collection comes from and what third-party we worked with to provide it. Some descriptions also indicate if the collection is complete.
Below the Description is the How to Use this Collection link. The link takes you to a FamilySearch wiki article about the collection. The wiki article offers more detailed information about the collection's contents.
