What are FamilySearch discovery centers?

FamilySearch discovery centers are large facilities with interactive displays. You can find a list of them in the FamilySearch Research Wiki.

When you visit, you can participate in various kinds of family history activities. For example, you can learn the meaning of your name or discover what happened during the year you were born. You can explore interactive maps that show where your ancestors were born. Recording booths allow you to record family and life stories.
