Ordinance information in Family Tree is from official sources. The date in Family Tree could be earlier or later than you expected.
Here are typical reasons for the differences:
- If the date is earlier than your records indicate, your personal records could contain information for duplicate ordinances. Family Tree displays the earliest date that ordinances were completed.
- A duplicate record could be in Family Tree for the person. The earlier date probably shows with the duplicate record. Search for duplicates, and merge them.
