Sophos can identify "pskill.exe" as a problem. The application sends certain updates to center computers. Centers do not need to worry about it. But if you would feel more comfortable, you can delete the pskill.exe file.
In case Sophos recognizes an application as a threat, you can follow the steps as follows in order to add it as an Authorized suspicious file:
- To open the Sophos interface, double-click the tray icon.
- In the left panel of the interface, click Quarantine.
- At the bottom, click Configure authorization.
- Click the third tab Suspicious files.
- Click New entry... ->.
- Select the file you want Sophos to recognize as trusted.
- Click Apply and then OK.
Adding the file as trusted marks the file as an "Authorized suspicious file," and Sophos sends it in quarantine.
If Sophos marks other software as a trojan or an adware PUA, contact FamilySearch Support.
