If you cannot access the internet when you sign in as a patron, try these steps:
- Sign in as an administrator.
- Open Computer Management. Either right-click My Computer or Computer, and then click Manage. Or from the Start menu, click Run (Win+R) and type in compmgmt.msc or lusrmgr.msc and click OK.
- From within Local Users and Groups, click Users.
- Right-click the Patron account, and click Delete and Yes to confirm.
- Right-click in the white space below the accounts, and click New User....
- Enter the User name and Full name as Patron (user names are not case-sensitive). Enter the password and check only the box beside Password never expires.
- Click Create.
- Sign out of the Administrator account, and sign back in with the patron account you created.
If you have no internet connection and it is not related to the cables, please check the IPv4 Protocol properties:
- In the taskbar, click the network icon.
- Click Open Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Local Area Connection.
- Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ IPv4) and then Properties.
- Make sure that Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically show as selected.
- To save the changes and check the internet connection, click OK.
