Lexmark printer driver installation wizard crashes

If the Lexmark printer driver installation wizard crashes, try the following steps. If you still have problems, please contact FamilySearch Support. 

1. Put the driver disk into the drive of the computer.
2. Go to Start.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Printers and Faxes.
5. Click Add a printer.
6. Click Next.
7. Click to remove the check beside Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer.
8. Click Next.
9. Check Create a new port, and click Standard TCP/IP Port from the list.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Next.
12. Type the static IP address of the Lexmark printer.
13. Click Next.
14. Click Finish.
15. Click Have Disk.
16. Click Browse.
17. Click D:\drivers\win_xp (if the disc is in the D drive; please edit the folder here).
18. Follow the instructions, and print a test page.
