FamilySearch users can create a provider-only account using another provider, such as Apple, Facebook, or Google. If you have issues signing in to a provider-only account, or if you have issues recovering a username or password for a provider-only account, receive help by doing one of the following:
Option 1: Contact the provider (Apple, Facebook, or Google) for help.
Option 2: Contact FamilySearch Support and use an email address or mobile phone number to set a FamilySearch password.
Note: Church account users with sign in issues (not associated with any other provider-only accounts) should contact the Global Services Department for assistance. Church account users in the United States and Canada, call toll-free 1-855-537-4357. Church account users outside the United States and Canada, call 1-801-240-4357.
