How do I edit an indexing group profile?

The group profile contains the group name, display name, category, language, locality, description, profile picture, and welcome text. The group administrator can edit this profile after creating the group.

Steps

  1. Sign in to FamilySearch.
  2. At the top of the page, click Get Involved. 
  3. Click Indexing.
  4. Scroll down to the Groups section.
  5. Click the name of the group.
  6. Click Options.
  7. Click Group Settings.
  8. Make any needed changes.
  9. If you need to change how people can join the group, follow these steps:
    1. Click General Settings.
    2. Click the joining model that you want.
    3. Click Update.
  10. When you are finished, click Back.
