The group profile contains the group name, display name, category, language, locality, description, profile picture, and welcome text. The group administrator can edit this profile after creating the group.
Steps
- Sign in to FamilySearch.
- At the top of the page, click Get Involved.
- Click Indexing.
- Scroll down to the Groups section.
- Click the name of the group.
- Click Options.
- Click Group Settings.
- Make any needed changes.
- If you need to change how people can join the group, follow these steps:
- Click General Settings.
- Click the joining model that you want.
- Click Update.
- When you are finished, click Back.
