How do affiliate libraries create a page on the FamilySearch Research Wiki?

We encourage affiliate libraries to create a FamilySearch Research Wiki page to promote your historical, genealogical, and unique resources. This Wiki ranks very high in Google searches and can be another opportunity to advertise your library on the internet. To make a Wiki page for your library, click here for instructions.

Staff Member Instructions Prior To Creating The Wiki Page:

  • A staff member of the library must create a FamilySearch Account in order to edit or create the wiki page.  To create a free account, go to https://www.familysearch.org/register/
  • The staff member must get editing rights on the English Wiki. Instructions on how to obtain editing rights and how to create or edit an affiliate library Wiki page are in this wiki article: Creating an Affiliate Library Page.

Note: On July 1, 2024 the FamilySearch Research Wiki will be making creation and editing changes to improve standardization of content and structure of pages. To learn more about the changes, click here.
