Here are some tips for finding others on FamilySearch.
- Filter your search results by location if you know where the person lives.
- Send a text or email to the person, and ask for his or her FamilySearch contact ID.
- Locate a contribution made by the person you are looking for, such as Family Tree edits or a photo or story. You'll find their contact ID with the contribution.
A complete profile that includes a portrait photo or avatar is easier to find. Consider updating your own profile and encouraging those you want to connect with to do the same.
