Deep Freeze is no longer available for download or installation on FamilySearch center computers. The license was not renewed.
If you have Deep Freeze installed on a FamilySearch center computer, it is up to the FamilySearch center staff, the local stake technology specialist, or local priesthood leadership to continue to maintain it. FamilySearch no longer supports Deep Freeze. If no one is available locally to support Deep Freeze until the current license expires, please uninstall or disable it.
To determine if Deep Freeze is currently installed or running, look at the lower right corner of the screen on the taskbar. If you see a small icon with a white polar bear's head, Deep Freeze is installed and running. If the polar bear has a small red circle with an x, it is disabled or in a thawed state. If you see no x, Deep Freeze is active. Unless the system is thawed, all changes made are lost at the next reboot.
